Our Crew Coaches

LAURA – FOUNDER & PINNACLE CREW COACH

Hola! I’m Laura, founder of MotionMasters and the driving force behind Bristol’s newest competition crews. Originally from Madrid, Spain, I’ve been living and breathing dance for over two decades, and my passion for street dance culture runs deep.

My journey began at 14 when I discovered Hip Hop, but it was battling in Madrid’s underground club scene where I truly found my calling. Those raw, electric battles ignited my love for Popping, Locking, and the authentic energy of urban dance. From the streets of Madrid to stages across Europe and the US, I’ve immersed myself in the world of street styles while also embracing my Spanish roots through Latin styles – Salsa, Samba, Reggaeton, and the fiery art of Flamenco.

I’ve competed internationally across Spain, the UK, Croatia, France, and the US in prestigious competitions including UDO, BDO, WDO Urban Display, and ICU. With over 14 years of teaching and choreography experience, I’ve worked with dancers of all ages and levels, and I’m deeply committed to giving back through charity work with organizations like Dance Dementia and Dance Donation.

Leading Team Pinnacle:

I’m incredibly excited to lead Team Pinnacle – our 30+ competition crew that’s here to prove age is just a number!

AYOLA – ZENITH CREW COACH

Hi, I’m Ayola—a dancer at heart with extensive training in hip hop, house, waacking, commercial, and popping. Over the years, dance has become an integral part of who I am.

Experience:
Over the years, I have competed, performed, taught classes, and directed dance projects. Through this journey, I’ve discovered my true passion lies in choreographing and developing dancers to reach their full potential.

Since last year, I’ve been teaching my own dance classes, where I focus on creating a fun, engaging environment while sharing the cultural foundations of street dance. I’m also the founder of VSL Dance Crew, where I choreograph across hip hop, commercial, and house styles, and provide strength and conditioning sessions for my crew.

Background:
As a self-employed dancer, I’ve worked on various projects including commercial shoots, music videos, live performances, and teaching cover classes. I’ve competed at prestigious events including UDO, Loughborough University Competition, and Manchester University Competition.

Whether I’m performing, teaching, or choreographing, I’m constantly seeking opportunities to grow and evolve as both an artist and a leader in the dance community.

Dance isn’t just what I do—it’s who I am. For 11 years, I’ve dedicated myself to competitive dance, and my passion for hip hop fuels everything I do as both a competitor and choreographer.

Competition Experience:

I served as Hip Hop Choreographer at Bath Spa University for 3 years, working with competitive dancers at intermediate level. Breaking barriers as the first hip hop choreographer to place at competition showed me the power of pushing boundaries while staying true to hip hop culture.

For the past 5 years, I’ve been developing competitive dancers aged 4-20, transforming beginners into confident competitors who understand both the technical and mental demands of competition day.
